Assistant / Associate Professor/ POP – Logistics & Supply Chain Management/International Business

DBS Global University is seeking an experienced and academically accomplished Assistant Professor / Associate Professor in Logistics & Supply Chain Management/International Business to contribute to teaching, research, curriculum development, industry engagement, and academic administration.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, case studies, and practical sessions in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
- Teach courses such as:
- Supply Chain Management
- Logistics Management
- Procurement & Sourcing
- Transportation Management
- Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Operations Management
- International Logistics
- Distribution & Network Management
- Supply Chain Analytics
- Global Supply Chain Management
- Develop and update course content, lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments.
- Use contemporary teaching methodologies, including case-based learning, simulations, industry projects, and experiential learning.
- Mentor and guide students in academic projects, dissertations, internships, and research activities.
- Conduct and publish high-quality research in reputed national and international journals.
- Contribute to funded research projects, conferences, seminars, workshops, and academic collaborations.
- Develop solid industry-academia partnerships and facilitate guest lectures, internships, live projects, and industry visits.




- Participate in curriculum development and periodic revision of programmes in accordance with applicable regulatory and academic standards.
- Undertake academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the University.
- Contribute to the development of innovative programmes and certifications in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

Required Qualifications

~ For Assistant Professor:

- Ph.D., Master’s degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management / Supply Chain Management / Operations Management / Operations / Business Administration / Management or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience.

~ For Associate Professor:

- Ph.D., Master’s degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management / Supply Chain Management / Operations Management / Operations / Business Administration / Management or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience in a University/College/recognized research institution or equivalent, subject to applicable regulatory norms.
- At least one candidate should have registered for a Ph.D. under your supervision/guidance.
- Minimum 7 research publications.

~ For Professor of Practice (POP):

Candidates with minimum 10 years of industry experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Warehousing, Transportation, E-commerce, Manufacturing, Retail, or related sectors will be given preference.
