About the Role: We are a growing MSP serving small to mid-sized businesses (30-300 users). We are looking for an Assistant Manager who is a "Technical Powerhouse." You will lead our service delivery team, manage client escalations, and provide technical consulting. We believe management can be learned, but technical depth is a requirement from Day 1.

- The Consultant: You can sit with a business owner and explain why they need a specific EDR or Firewall policy in plain, professional English.

Technical Requirements (The Must-Haves):

- Windows Server Expert: Deep experience with AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server environments.
- Networking & Security:



Practical experience configuring and managing Firewalls (Sophos/Fortinet), VLANs, and VPNs.
- Cloud & Apps: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration and Azure.
- Endpoint & Backup: Hands-on with EDR/MDR solutions and NAS (Synology/QNAP).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of core technical experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee Helpdesk, NOC, and SOC operations to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Act as the final escalation point for complex technical issues.
- Conduct technical training and "post-mortems" (RCA) for the junior team.
- Ensure 100% SLA compliance and identify operational bottlenecks.
- Consult with clients on one-time projects and infrastructure upgrades.

Candidate Profile:

- Fluent English: Mandatory for client-facing consulting and documentation.
- MSP Background: Highly preferred (understanding of RMM/PSA tools).
- Management Interest: This is an Assistant Manager role—perfect for a Senior Engineer looking to move into management.
