ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Draughtsman to join our Design Team as a Design Coordinator.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience in architectural drafting and detailing and will be responsible for translating design concepts into precise, construction-ready drawings while coordinating effectively with architects, consultants, contractors, and site teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, layouts, sections, and elevations using AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
- Convert design concepts and sketches from architects/designers into accurate technical drawings.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants to ensure proper drawing integration and clash-free documentation.
- Prepare and maintain Working Drawings, GFC (Good for Construction) Drawings, and Shop Drawings.
- Review site conditions and update drawings based on site measurements and execution feedback.
- Coordinate with site engineers and contractors to resolve drawing-related queries during execution.
- Maintain drawing registers, revision logs, and version control for project documentation.
- Support the design team in preparing presentation drawings, 3D views, and material specifications as required.




- Ensure drawings comply with applicable statutory building codes, byelaws, and approval requirements.
- Assist in preparing BOQs and drawing-related documentation for tendering and procurement.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure timely issuance and execution of drawings.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Draughtsmanship. Diploma in Architectural Assistantship / B.Arch preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in architectural drafting and detailing.
- Experience with a real estate developer, architecture firm, or construction company preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or 3ds Max will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, detailing, and building byelaws/codes.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and MEP drawings for coordination purposes.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail with good organizational and time-management skills.
- Prior experience in residential and/or commercial real estate projects preferred.
