Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated Android Developer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in developing, testing, and maintaining Android applications. The candidate should have good knowledge of Kotlin/Java, Android SDK, REST APIs, Firebase, and Deep Linking.

The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, troubleshoot application issues, and collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and the product team.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
- Build responsive, reliable, and user-friendly Android applications.
- Integrate REST APIs, JSON, third-party SDKs, and payment/API services.
- Implement and maintain Deep Linking, Android App Links, and Universal/App Link related functionality.
- Handle navigation between web URLs and specific screens within the Android application.
- Implement push notifications using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application crashes and performance issues.
- Work with databases such as SQLite/Room where required.
- Integrate analytics and other third-party services.
- Perform testing, debugging, and optimization across different Android devices and OS versions.
- Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store.




- Collaborate with backend developers and other team members to deliver new features.
- Maintain clean, reusable, and well-documented code.

Required Skills
- 1–2 years of professional Android development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java.
- Good understanding of Android SDK and Android Studio.
- Experience with XML layouts and Android UI components.
- Good understanding of REST APIs and API integration.
- Knowledge of JSON parsing and HTTP requests.
- Experience with Firebase, especially FCM.
- Good understanding of Deep Linking and Android App Links is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub or other version-control systems.
- Understanding of Android application lifecycle and navigation.
- Basic knowledge of MVVM/MVC architecture is preferred.
- Valuable debugging and problem-solving skills.

Deep Linking Knowledge The candidate should understand how to:

- Create and handle custom URL schemes.
- Implement Android App Links.
- Open a specific screen of the application from a website URL.
- Pass parameters through deep links.
- Handle deep links when the app is installed, closed, or running in the background.
- Configure intent-filter and assetlinks.json.
- Test and troubleshoot deep-link navigation.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
