Persistent is hiring an Agentic AI Engineer to build and deliver workflow automation and enterprise integration solutions. The role combines Java, Camunda BPM, ReactJS, Azure, and Agentic AI capabilities in a hybrid, inclusive work environment.

Experience

- 8 to 12 years
- 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in an Agentic AI Engineer or similar role

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- BE
- B.Tech
- ME
- M.Tech
- MCA from a recognized university
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline

Responsibilities

- Translate Pega processes into scalable Camunda BPMN and DMN workflows
- Build and maintain backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Develop UI components for human task interaction, workflow monitoring, and case management
- Integrate Camunda with REST APIs, messaging platforms, databases, and enterprise applications
- Embed Agentic AI capabilities within workflows for intelligent decision-making and automation




- Design end-to-end solutions covering workflow orchestration, backend services, APIs, and front-end applications
- Ensure scalability, performance, reliability, security, and maintainability
- Support testing, deployment automation, CI/CD implementation, and production optimization
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, and development teams
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across workflow, integration, and application layers

Additional Responsibilities

- Support deployment automation and CI/CD implementation
