Role Description The Agency Manager role at Care Insurance is a full-time, on-site position based in Cuttack.

The Agency

Manager will be responsible for developing and managing a network of insurance agents, guiding them to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base in the region. This role involves planning and executing sales strategies, monitoring performance metrics,



and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

The Agency

Manager will conduct regular training and mentoring sessions for agents, support them in customer acquisition and retention, and resolve escalated customer queries related to health insurance products. Daily activities also include coordinating with internal teams for underwriting and claims, preparing sales reports, and contributing to local marketing and outreach initiatives.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in agency management, sales leadership, or distribution management within insurance or financial services.
- Strong skills in team management, mentoring, and performance coaching for field sales teams or agents.
- Ability to plan and execute sales strategies, analyze market potential, and meet or exceed revenue and growth targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities to engage agents, partners, and customers.
- Familiarity with health insurance products, regulatory guidelines, and basic underwriting and claims processes is preferred.
- Comfort with using digital tools and CRM or sales tracking systems to manage pipelines and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, marketing, or a related field; relevant skilled certifications in insurance are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Cuttack, with readiness for local travel for agency visits, client meetings, and field activities.
