About the Role:

CertifyMe is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts & Customer Account Management Executive to manage customer accounts, revenue recognition, accounting activities, and general administrative responsibilities.

This is an Individual Contributor role requiring the candidate to independently manage assigned CertifyMe customer accounts, coordinate with customers and internal teams, and ensure that financial and administrative activities are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Account Management

- Manage day-to-day account-related activities for assigned CertifyMe customers.
- Act as a key point of contact for customers regarding account, billing, payment, and documentation-related matters.
- Maintain accurate customer account information, contracts, billing details, invoices, and payment records.
- Monitor customer account status, outstanding balances, renewals, billing requirements, and other account-related activities.
- Coordinate with customers to obtain required information, documents, confirmations, and approvals.
- Follow up on pending invoices, payments, discrepancies, and other account-related issues.
- Build professional and responsive relationships with CertifyMe customers.
- Coordinate internally with Finance, Operations, Sales, and Management to resolve customer account issues.

Revenue Recognition
- Manage and support revenue recognition for CertifyMe customers.
- Review customer contracts, invoices, transactions, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure customer revenue is properly tracked, recognised, and reconciled.
- Maintain revenue recognition schedules and customer-level revenue trackers.




- Reconcile recognised revenue with invoices, customer accounts, and accounting records.
- Identify discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve them.
- Support month-end revenue recognition and closing activities.

Accounts & Finance
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities related to customer accounts.
- Maintain accounts receivable records and monitor customer outstanding balances.
- Prepare and track invoices and payment-related documentation.
- Perform account and bank reconciliations as required.
- Track collections and follow up on overdue payments.
- Maintain accurate ledgers, financial records, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with accounts payable and other finance activities when required.
- Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, tax consultants, or finance partners as required.
- Prepare finance and customer account reports for management.

General Administration & Operations
- Handle general administrative and operational activities as assigned.
- Maintain internal records, trackers, documents, and databases.
- Prepare reports and summaries for management.
- Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, emails, and documentation.
- Support other business and operational activities as required.
- Take ownership of ad-hoc tasks and time-sensitive requirements.

Requirements

- 0.6–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, customer account management, operations, administration, or a similar role.
- Basic understanding of accounting, invoicing,



accounts receivable/payable, and reconciliations.
- Understanding of customer account management and billing processes.
- Willingness to learn and manage revenue recognition activities.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and accounting or ERP software.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer handling and follow-up skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple customer accounts and priorities.
- Comfortable working from an office and coordinating with customers and internal teams.
- Proactive, dependable, organised, and willing to take ownership.

What Success Looks Like: The successful candidate will ensure that:

- CertifyMe customer accounts are accurate, updated, and well managed.
- Customer billing and payment follow-ups happen on time.
- Revenue recognition is accurate and properly documented.
- Finance records and reconciliations are maintained correctly.
- Customer queries and account-related issues are resolved promptly.
- Management receives accurate and timely reports.
- Administrative and operational tasks are completed without constant supervision.

Working Schedule & Flexibility: Regular working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

The candidate should be flexible to support business-critical requirements outside regular working hours and on weekends when needed, particularly during month-end closing, urgent customer matters, revenue-related activities, or other time-sensitive business requirements.

Work Location:

Whitefield, Bengaluru – Work From Office (WFO)

Candidates should be comfortable working from the Whitefield office on a full time basis.
