Variabl is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance, Tax &

- Compliance Intern to assist with onboarding and servicing business clients.

The intern will work closely with the team on client coordination, document collection, accounting support, taxation, and statutory compliance. This role offers practical exposure to how the finance and compliance functions of startups and other organizations are managed.

Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

- Client Onboarding &
- Coordination
- Assist in onboarding new clients by understanding their business structure, finance processes, and compliance requirements.
- Collect, verify, organize, and maintain client documents, KYC records, registrations, and financial information.
- Create onboarding checklists and ensure all required information is received from clients.
- Communicate with clients professionally through emails, calls, and meetings to resolve queries and collect pending information.
- Prepare periodic client status reports and provide timely updates on open tasks, documents, and deadlines.

- Compliance
- Maintain client-wise compliance calendars and track applicable statutory deadlines.
- Assist with accounting, reconciliations, bookkeeping reviews, and preparation of financial working papers.




- Support the preparation and filing process for GST, TDS, income tax, and other applicable tax compliances under the team’s supervision.
- Assist with company and LLP compliances, including relevant MCA and ROC documentation.
- Research tax, finance, and regulatory matters relevant to client requirements.
- Support clients with day-to-day finance and compliance-related queries under appropriate supervision.

- Qualified Coordination
- Coordinate with clients, chartered accountants, company secretaries, and other professionals to complete assigned work.
- Help improve internal checklists, templates, trackers, and standard operating procedures.
- Follow up with clients politely and consistently to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain accurate records and handle confidential client information professionally.
- Manage multiple tasks and deadlines while ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
