Role Description The Academic Mentor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru, offering a salary range of 35k to 40k+ with incentives.

The Academic

Mentor will guide learners in understanding academic concepts, with a focus on mathematics and related subjects. Daily responsibilities include conducting mentoring sessions, clarifying doubts, explaining concepts in simple terms, and supporting learners in setting and achieving academic goals. The role also involves preparing learning materials, tracking learner progress, and providing constructive feedback.





The Academic

Mentor will collaborate with the wider team to improve training methods, maintain records, and ensure a positive and engaging learning environment for all learners.

Qualifications

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trustful, supportive relationships with learners.
- Excellent communication skills, including clear verbal and written expression in English (additional language skills are an advantage).
- Solid understanding of mathematics and the ability to explain concepts at different levels of difficulty.
- Background in education or training, with experience in mentoring, tutoring, or teaching preferred.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Education, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Ability to plan sessions, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate progress records.
- Patience, empathy, and a learner-centered approach, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Comfort working on-site in Bengaluru and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
