SALES MANAGER – MARBLE & GRANITE

Job Overview

We are looking for an energetic and target-oriented Sales Manager – Marble & Granite to drive sales, develop current customers and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, contractors and premium homeowners.

The candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, generating new business, managing customer enquiries and converting projects into confirmed orders.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.

- Generate new enquiries and convert them into sales.

- Develop business from architects, interior designers, builders, contractors and developers.

- Visit construction sites, design studios and customer locations regularly.

- Follow up on quotations and ensure timely order closure.

- Develop new customers and maintain existing customer relationships.

- Identify upcoming villa, residential, commercial and hospitality projects.

Architect & Designer Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects and interior designers.

- Regularly present recent marble, granite and exotic stone collections.

- Conduct product presentations and showroom visits.

- Generate referrals and project leads through the architect/designer network.

Product Knowledge

The candidate should develop good knowledge of:

- Imported Italian marble

- Indian marble

- Premium granite

- Quartzite

- Travertine

- Onyx

- Exotic stones

- Bookmatching

- Vein matching

- Cut-to-size requirements

- Slab selection and applications

Customer & Project Management

- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable stones.





- Coordinate slab selection and approvals.

- Prepare quotations and negotiate within approved pricing limits.

- Coordinate with procurement, cutting, polishing, logistics and installation teams.

- Ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.

- Maintain regular follow-up until project completion.

Sales Reporting

- Maintain daily enquiry and sales reports.

- Maintain an updated sales pipeline.

- Track quotations, follow-ups, pending decisions and expected closures.

- Submit weekly and monthly sales reports to the Business Head.

- Monitor competitor pricing and market activity.

Key Performance Indicators

- Monthly sales target achievement

- New enquiries generated

Candidate Profile

Experience: 5–10 years preferred in marble, granite, natural stone, tiles, sanitaryware, building materials, interiors or related industries.

Skills Required

- Strong sales and negotiation skills

- Good knowledge of marble and granite

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Good architect and interior designer network preferred

- Ability to generate leads independently

- Strong follow-up and closing skills

- Good knowledge of Bengaluru's luxury residential and construction market

- Willingness to travel for client and project meetings

- Target-oriented and self-motivated

The ideal candidate should be well connected with architects, interior designers, builders and contractors, understand premium natural stones and have the ability to convert enquiries into high-value orders.

Primary Objective: Generate business, build relationships and consistently achieve profitable sales targets.
