Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detailoriented Application Support Engineer to support and maintain businesscritical applications hosted on Windows Server environments with 57 of relevant experience The ideal candidate will have handson experience in server migration activities application deployment SQL Server administration troubleshooting CC based applications and resolving infrastructurerelated issues to ensure system stability and availability

Key Responsibilities

Perform Windows Server migration upgrade and maintenance activities while ensuring minimal downtime

Deploy configure and support CC based applications across development test and production environments

Execute application patching version upgrades and routine maintenance activities

Monitor application health and troubleshoot production incidents identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions

Administer SQL Server environments including connectivity validation performance monitoring and basic database maintenance tasks

Configure manage and troubleshoot ODBC connections for applications and databases

Coordinate with development infrastructure and business teams to resolve application and environmentrelated issues

Support release and deployment activities ensuring adherence to change management processes

Prepare and maintain technical documentation deployment procedures and support runbooks

Participate in oncall support and production incident management as required

Required Skills

Strong experience with Windows Server administration upgrades and migration activities

Handson experience in application patching deployment and production support

Experience troubleshooting and supporting CC applications





Valuable knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server administration and database connectivity troubleshooting

Experience with ODBC configuration maintenance and issue resolution

Understanding of application logs performance monitoring and incident management processes

Familiarity with service management tools and ticketing systems

Strong analytical troubleshooting and communication skills

Skills:

Mandatory Skills : Bash/Shell scripting, BMC Helix ITSM, Oracle DB Administration, Windows Server
Good to Have Skills : C++
