Role: Senior network Security Engineer

Location: Trivandrum, KL

Key Responsibilities :

1. Manage and support Cisco Nexus Switches, Cisco Routers, Fortinet Firewalls, Fortinet Switches, and Fortinet Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) / Access Points (APs) to ensure network availability and performance.
2. Perform configuration, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of LAN, WAN, Wireless, and Security infrastructure.
3. Monitor network health, performance, bandwidth utilization, and availability using Manage Engine Ops Manager Plus and proactively address issues.
4. Configure and maintain Fortinet Firewalls, including security policies, NAT, VPNs (Site-to-Site and SSL VPN), routing, and threat prevention features.
5. Administer Cisco Nexus switching environments, including VLANs, STP, VPC, trunking, routing protocols, and high-availability configurations.
6. Manage and support Forti Manager and Forti Analyzer, including centralized policy management, device administration,



configuration backups, log analysis, reporting, and compliance monitoring.
7. Administer and troubleshoot Fortinet Wireless Infrastructure (WLC/APs), including SSID management, wireless security, RF optimization, and client connectivity issues.
8. Perform firmware upgrades, patching, vulnerability remediation, configuration backups, and technology refresh activities across network and security infrastructure.
9. Provide L2/L3 support, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), resolve incidents and problems, and participate in change and release management activities.
10. Create and maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, SOPs, operational runbooks, and security standards, while collaborating with infrastructure, server, cloud, and security teams to support business operations and projects
