Job Description Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js.5 to 6 years experience Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices. Build secure, scalable, and high-performance server-side and optimize SQL database schemas and queries. Integrate third-party APIs and external services. Implement authentication and authorization using JWT and OAuth. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance. Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code. Perform unit testing, code reviews, and maintain code quality. Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, Dev Ops, and product teams. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to technical discussions. Required Skills Strong proficiency in Node.js and Java Script (ES6+). Experience with Express.js. Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, Promises, async/await, and the Node.js event loop. Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs. Knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.



Experience with ORM/ODM frameworks such as Sequelize, TypeORM, or Mongoose. Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, or Git Hub. Knowledge of authentication and authorization using JWT and OAuth. Understanding API security, logging, exception handling, and performance with unit testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha. Preferred Skills Experience with Type Script. Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with Azure or AWS cloud with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or Azure Dev Ops. Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, or Kafka. Understanding microservice architecture. Robust analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5–6 years of experience in Node.js backend development.
