About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join a US-based pharmaceutical/healthcare software development organization and work from our Hyderabad office.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Agile practitioner with strong hands-on Scrum Master experience, preferably having worked with US-based clients and distributed global teams. The candidate should understand the complexities of software development in the Pharma/Healthcare domain and be capable of driving Agile delivery, team maturity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can go beyond facilitating Scrum ceremonies and actively contribute to Agile transformation, engineering excellence, delivery predictability, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

· Serve as the Scrum Master and Agile servant leader for one or more software development teams.

· Facilitate effective Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective, and Backlog Refinement.

· Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Scrum and Agile principles and practices.

· Remove impediments and proactively identify risks affecting delivery.

· Drive continuous improvement in team productivity, quality, collaboration, and delivery predictability.

· Work closely with US-based Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, Engineering Teams, and other Agile teams.

· Support Agile transformation and adoption of Agile practices across the organization.

· Promote engineering excellence through collaboration with development, QA, DevOps,



and architecture teams.

· Encourage adoption of DevOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, Test Automation, and XP-based engineering practices.

· Track and communicate Agile metrics such as Velocity, Cycle Time, Lead Time, Throughput, Sprint Predictability, Defect Trends, and Release Progress.

· Support teams in establishing meaningful OKRs and measurable delivery outcomes.

· Identify opportunities to improve flow, reduce bottlenecks, and increase business value delivery.

· Facilitate effective collaboration across geographically distributed teams.

· Ensure Agile practices are implemented consistently while adapting them appropriately to the team's context.

Mandatory Qualifications

· 10+ years of total IT/software development experience.

· Minimum 3 years of hands-on Scrum Master experience is mandatory.

· 2+ years of experience in Pharma, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or related domains is mandatory.

· Valid CSM (Certified ScrumMaster) or PSM (Skilled Scrum Master) certification is mandatory.

· Strong practical understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies.

· Experience working with US-based clients/stakeholders and distributed teams.

· Experience in software development environments with cross-functional teams.

· Strong understanding of Agile metrics and delivery reporting.

· Experience with Agile transformation or Agile maturity improvement initiatives.

· Good understanding of DevOps and Test Automation practices.

· Working knowledge of XP-based engineering practices, such as TDD, CI/CD, Pair Programming, Refactoring, and Continuous Integration.

· Excellent communication, facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder-management skills.

· Must be based in or willing to work from Hyderabad under the 4-days-office/1-day-WFH model.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in regulated Pharma / Healthcare software environments.
