Responsibilities:

- Learn and support internal applications in Java and Python
- Collaborate with team to support 3 rd -party applications
- Communicate on work progress
- Assist in infrastructure development and maintenance
- Perform infrastructure design reviews

The position requires strong Java and database skills , along with some experience with customer support.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

- BSc degree (Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical degree)
- Experience of Java development and debugging
- SQL database backend , preferably PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of client-server applications and security (HTTPS, TLS 1.3)
- Python development experience
- Linux use and preferably administration experience
- Customer support experience
- Robust verbal and written communication skills
- T eam player who works well in collaborative situations
- Strong problem-solving, and analytical skills, willingness to take up complex challenges and triage environmental issues
