We are seeking an experienced and proactive Application Support Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in supporting multi-region, high-availability applications. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless system operations, performing root cause analysis, managing incidents using ITIL frameworks, and collaborating across global teams in a 24/7 environment.
Key Responsibilities

- Application Monitoring & Maintenance: Perform real-time log analysis, system checks, and application support across global environments.
- Incident & Escalation Management: Manage day-to-day tickets, service requests, and incidents through ITSM platforms while adhering to SLA commitments.
- Troubleshooting & RCA: Perform basic to intermediate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for system bugs, errors, and performance degradation.
- System Operations: Execute database queries (SQL) and run Linux/Python shell scripts for log extraction, operational checks, and automated tasks.
- Stakeholder Management: Deliver explicit, concise, and professional oral and written communication to business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and end-users.
- Agile Process Execution:



Work closely with engineering and product teams using Agile workflows and ITIL best practices.

Key Requirements & Qualifications1. Core Experience & Soft Skills

- 3 5 years of hands-on experience in production application support.
- Must have hands-on experience working in a 24/7 rotational shift environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder management abilities.
- Working knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management) and Agile methodologies.

2. Technical Proficiencies

- Databases: Strong proficiency in SQL (executing queries, filtering, data extraction).
- Operating Systems: Solid command of Linux/Unix command-line tools for navigation, system monitoring, and log parsing.
- Scripting & Containers: Basic-to-intermediate scripting skills using Bash or Python, alongside exposure to Docker and Kubernetes for log analysis and containerized application support.
- Data Tools: MS Excel (Intermediate formulas, data sorting, and analysis)
