The role combinestechnical sales, customer relationship management, and project coordination to supportcustomers from initial inquiry through project completion.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business DevelopmentAchieve assigned sales targets and business objectives.Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities.Manage and grow existing customer accounts while developing new markets.Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals.Conduct product presentations and customer visits.Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts.Technical Support & Solution SellingUnderstand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.Provide technical consultation and application support.Work closely with customers to develop effective vacuum technology solutions.Coordinate with engineering and factory teams to support customer requirements.Project CoordinationManage customer projects from order receipt to installation and final acceptance.Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Logistics, and Serviceteams.Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.Identify project risks and take corrective actions when needed.Provide regular project updates to customers and management.Customer Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.Support after-sales activities and identify opportunities for repeat business.Gather market feedback and competitor information.Reporting & AdministrationPrepare sales reports, forecasts, and market updates.Maintain accurate customer and project records in CRM systems.Support management with business development initiatives and special assignments.RequirementsEducationDiploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or related disciplines.Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or ChemicalEngineering preferred.ExperienceSenior Sales Engineer5–8 years of experience in technical sales, engineering sales, or industrial equipmentsales.Assistant Sales Manager8–12 years of relevant experience with proven sales achievements.Preferred Industry ExperienceVacuum TechnologySemiconductor EquipmentElectronics ManufacturingScientific InstrumentsIndustrial AutomationCapital EquipmentThin Film / Coating SystemsSkillsStrong technical and commercial understanding.Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Project management and coordination experience.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Good command of spoken and written English.Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.Personal AttributesSelf-motivated and results-oriented.Strong customer focus and business acumen.Willing to learn and take initiative.Team player with good interpersonal skills.Willing to travel across India as required.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Sales Revenue & Order IntakeNew Customer AcquisitionKey Account GrowthProfitability & Margin PerformanceProject Delivery PerformanceCustomer SatisfactionForecast AccuracyKnowledge of Vacuum Technology will be a solid advantage.Reporting To: Sales Manager / General ManagerFunction: Technical Sales, Project Management & Business Development
