The role will partner closely with Manufacturing, Sourcing, Procurement, Logistics, and Business Leadership to enhance profitability, strengthen financial governance, optimize costs, and enable strategic decision-making.The incumbent will be responsible for providing financial leadership across sourcing, manufacturing, inventory, logistics, and commercial decision support while ensuring robust financial controls, compliance, and operational excellence. Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Finance & Performance ManagementLead end-to-end financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews for the Supply Chain function.Drive Gross Margin analysis, profitability reviews,
and cost optimization initiatives to improve overall business performance.Provide financial insights to support pricing, sourcing, manufacturing, and strategic business decisions.Develop robust financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate business opportunities and risks.Plant & Factory FinancePartner with Manufacturing teams to drive factory performance, manufacturing efficiencies, and cost optimization.Monitor material consumption, conversion costs, plant overheads, and manufacturing variances.Lead product costing, standard costing, BOM reviews, and inventory valuation.Drive productivity, cost-saving, and operational excellence initiatives across manufacturing locations.Supply Chain FinancePartner with Sourcing and Procurement teams on raw material, packaging material, and Capex negotiations by providing commercial and financial insights.Identify opportunities arising from commodity price movements, inflationary/deflationary trends, and inventory positioning.Drive logistics, warehousing, and distribution cost optimization initiatives in collaboration with Supply Chain leadership.Lead working capital improvement initiatives through inventory optimization, slow-moving inventory reduction, and obsolescence management.Controllership & GovernanceEnsure robust financial controls and governance across Supply Chain and Manufacturing processes.Own monthly financial closing, reporting, reconciliations, and management reviews.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, GST, statutory requirements, and audit processes.Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement across finance operations.Stakeholder ManagementAct as a trusted Finance Business Partner to Business, Manufacturing, Procurement, Commercial, and Supply Chain leaders.Present actionable financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.Support strategic initiatives, investment evaluations, and business transformation projects.Education:Chartered Accountant (CA) - First AttemptPreferred Batch: 2014–2015Experience:12–14 years of post-qualification experience.Strong experience in Business Finance, Controllership, Plant/Factory Finance, and Supply Chain Finance.Prior experience in FMCG,
