Role Objective

To lead the Sales & Marketing function for the Paper segment, driving business and revenue growth, strengthening relationships with paper and board mills, developing new markets and products, and ensuring profitable and sustainable business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Revenue Growth

- Achieve target sales volume, revenue, market share, and collection targets for the Paper Segment.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand business with existing customers and acquire new customers.
- Identify growth opportunities in paper and board mills across domestic and potential export markets.
- Drive profitability and margin optimization through product positioning and value selling.

Market Intelligence & Business Strategy

- Conduct trend analysis of demand and supply within the paper chemicals industry.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market movements.
- Provide competition intelligence and market insights to senior management.
- Prepare sales projections, forecasts, and strategic plans aligned with company objectives.

Customer Relationship & Technical Engagement

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, mills, and industry stakeholders.
- Coordinate closely with technical service teams for product trials, troubleshooting, and customer support.
- Attend customer trials, technical discussions, and complaint resolution meetings.
- Collect customer feedback and insights for product improvements and new product development.

Sales Operations & Reporting

- Prepare and present monthly sales reports, performance reviews, and market updates.




- Track and manage collections and receivables to ensure financial discipline.
- Maintain customer database and CRM records for effective sales management.

Product & Market Development

- Lead introduction and commercialization of current products in the market.
- Deliver technical presentations to customers demonstrating product value and application benefits.
- Work closely with R&D;, production, and technical teams to align product offerings with market needs.

Preferred Educational Qualification

- BE / B. Tech – Paper Technology preferred.
- MBA – Marketing preferred.

Preferred Industry Experience

- 15–18 years of experience in Sales & Marketing within Paper Chemicals / Paper Industry.
- Strong experience working with paper mills and/or board mills is highly desirable.
- Candidates with exposure to specialty chemicals serving the paper industry may also be considered.

Essential Previous Responsibilities

- Sales and marketing of paper chemicals and specialty chemicals for the paper industry.
- Managing customer relationships and business development with paper and board mills.
- Handling customer technical trials, product application support, troubleshooting, and complaint resolution.
- Experience in new product introduction and commercialization.
- Exposure to production or technical functions within paper/board mills will be an added advantage.
