About The Job:

- The SAP S/4HANA ABAP Consultant will be responsible for the technical execution of S/4HANA projects.
- Lead the custom code remediation process, develop high-performance objects using the HANA-native paradigm (CDS, AMDP), and ensure a seamless transition from legacy ECC systems to S/4HANA.

Essential Job Functions:
S/4HANA Migration & Conversion

- Custom Code Remediation: Analyze and adapt existing ECC custom code for S/4HANA compatibility using SAP Readiness Check, ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC), and SCMON.
- Simplification List Impact: Remediate code impacted by the S/4HANA Simplification List (e.g., MATNR length extension, Business Partner conversion, Data Model changes like BSEG/ACDOCA).
- System Upgrade Support: Handle technical activities during conversion cycles, including SPDD/SPAU/SPAU_ENH adjustments.

Core Technical Development (RICEFW)
- HANA-Native Development: Design and develop Core Data Services (CDS) Views and ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) to leverage the power of the HANA database.
- Modern Programming Models: Implementation experience with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) or BOPF.
- OData Services: Develop and extend OData services (SEGW) for Fiori integration.
- Traditional ABAP: Expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOPS), BAdIs, User Exits,



Enhancements, and BAPIs.

Performance & Optimization
- Conduct SQL performance tuning and code optimization for the HANA database using SQL Trace (ST05) and Runtime Analysis (SAT).
- Ensure all developments follow the "Clean Core" strategy and SAP Best Practices.

Qualifications:
Required Skills & Qualifications

- S/4HANA Experience: Minimum 4–7 years of hands-on experience in S/4HANA environments.
- Migration Cycles: Must have participated in at least two end-to-end migration/conversion projects (Brownfield or Greenfield).
- Tools: Proficiency in Eclipse (ADT), SAP Migration Cockpit, and ATC.
- Functional Knowledge: Basic understanding of functional modules (FI, SD) to assist in technical mapping and debugging.
- Methodology: Familiarity with SAP Activate Methodology and Agile delivery environments.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications
- SAP Certified Development Specialist - ABAP for SAP HANA.
- Knowledge of MDG, Fiori/UI5 development is a significant plus.

Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Successful completion of Code Remediation with zero critical errors post-go-live.
- Timely delivery of RICEF objects during the "Realize" phase of the migration.




- Optimization of custom reports to achieve significant performance gains on the HANA DB.
