Profile: Investment Banking Associate

Experience:

- CA All India Ranker, CFA Level 3 cleared, or MBA from a premier institute preferred.
- Candidates with Big 4 transaction advisory/investment banking experience will be strongly preferred.
- 1-4 years of overall experience with at least 1 year of front-end transaction execution experience at a reputed investment banking firm.

Roles:

- Lead end-to-end execution of Private Equity fundraise transactions from mandate initiation through closure.
- Prepare financial models, Information Memorandums, teasers, pitch books, valuation analyses, and investor presentations.
- Perform company valuation using DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction methodologies.
- Coordinate financial, tax, legal, and commercial due diligence with clients, PE funds, and their advisors.
- Manage communication and coordination between clients, PE investors, legal advisors, lenders, and other transaction stakeholders.




- Support term sheet negotiations and definitive agreement processes with PE funds.
- Build and maintain the Private Equity deal pipeline and identify relevant investors for transactions.
- Support investor outreach, management presentations, and discussions with prospective PE investors.
- Identify value-accretive opportunities and contribute to transaction strategy and execution.
- Track transaction progress, timelines, deliverables, and closure requirements across multiple stakeholders.

Qualification:

- Minimum 2 successfully closed Private Equity transactions is mandatory.
- Strong hands-on experience in financial modelling and valuation.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power Point.
- Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to independently manage transaction workstreams and operate in a fast-paced deal workplace.
