Job Description

- Must have at least 5 years of experience and knowledge with SQL Server/MySQL in different Cloud Platforms (Azure/AWS/Private Cloud)
- Expert knowledge in building recent SQL Server, migrating databases to Azure/AWS, Security, Replication and HADR technologies, Backups/Restores, Index Maintenance, and Performance Tuning a variety of database systems.
- Expert knowledge in TSQL, Data Modeling, Architecture Diagram
- Must have a good understanding of networking and infrastructure
- Experience with scripting in Power Shell, Bash, and Python is a plus
- Knowledge in building pipelines with Azure Data Factory, Data Lakes, Data Bricks, and other data tools is a plus
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT, Data Transformations, SSIS and SSRS, and PowerBI Services is a huge plus
- Experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse, Azure Synapse, and Enterprise Data Warehousing technologies is a huge plus
- Understanding of Azure data security and encryption best practices. [ADFS/ACLs]
- Experience with Source Control (Github/Azure DevOps)
- Understanding of Dev Ops Concepts and CI/CD Pipelines
- Understanding of Azure Cloud costs/management and running platforms efficiently
