Summary:
As a Alarm Management DCS/SCADA Support Engineer, a typical day involves supporting, stabilizing, and continuously improving industrial OT applications and systems aligned to Alarm Management, DCS/SCADA(SCADA / DCS). The role requires working in an AMS / production support setting, collaborating with operations, IT, engineering, and cross-functional teams to resolve incidents, support enhancements, and maintain reliable service delivery.

The candidate will use domain knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and support governance practices to ensure system availability, SLA adherence, and continuous service improvement. Support alarm management and DCS/SCADA system operations, focusing on alarm rationalization, monitoring, and reducing alarm floods to improve operational efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.




- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems.
- Monitor and manage alarms in real-time operations.
- Identify nuisance alarms and support rationalization.
- Support incident resolution related to alarms.
- Work with L2/L3 teams for improvements.
- Maintain alarm KPIs and reporting.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Alarm Management, DCS/SCADA(SCADA / DCS) Emerson DeltaV.
- Alarm management concepts.
- DCS Emerson DeltaV monitoring.
- Incident handling and logging.
- Basic process understanding.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to identify patterns in alarms/issues.
- Good coordination with operations teams.
- Awareness of plant safety and reliability.
- Good To Have Skills: EEMUA / ISA alarm standards Historian analysis Process optimization.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have relevant experience in Alarm Management, DCS/SCADA(SCADA / DCS) and AMS / production support environments.
- Experience in downstream manufacturing, OT, SCADA, PLC, DCS, historian, industrial integration, or energy domain support is preferred where applicable.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full-time education is required.
