About the Role

We are looking for a Senior/Lead Software Engineer (Automation Testing - JavaScript) to build scalable and robust test automation frameworks. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile workplace to drive In-Sprint test automation and ensure high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for API & UI testing

Implement In-Sprint test automation to align with Agile development cycles

Develop test scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript with frameworks like WebdriverIO, Playwright, Cypress, Jest, Puppeteer, or Protractor

Work with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Bamboo) for test execution and reporting

Troubleshoot test failures, analyze root causes, and improve test coverage





Lead and mentor junior automation engineers (for Lead positions)

Must-Have Skills

6+ years of experience in automation testing

Strong programming skills in JavaScript or TypeScript

Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO, Playwright, Cypress, Jest, Puppeteer, or Protractor

Proficiency in testing frameworks: Jasmine, Mocha, or Chai

Strong experience in API & UI test automation

Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Bamboo)

Agile experience, preferably with In-Sprint automation

Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with cloud-based testing tools (AWS Device Farm, BrowserStack, SauceLabs)

Familiarity with DevOps & TestOps practices

Exposure to performance & security testing
