Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary child development team. The role involves assessment and intervention for children with speech, language, communication, and related developmental difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, communication, and feeding assessments where appropriate.
- Develop individualized, functional therapy goals based on each child’s developmental profile.
- Provide evidence-based speech and language intervention for children with:
- Speech and language delay
- Late talking
- Autism spectrum disorder
- Developmental delay
- Articulation and phonological disorders
- Social communication difficulties
- Fluency disorders
- Learning difficulties
- Other neurodevelopmental conditions
- Use developmentally appropriate and child-centred therapy approaches.
- Incorporate parent/caregiver training and home-based strategies into intervention.
- Maintain detailed therapy records, progress notes, goals, and outcome measures.
- Regularly review and modify therapy goals based on the child’s progress.
- Collaborate with the developmental pediatrician, occupational therapist, special educator, psychologist,



and other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding therapy goals, progress, and recommendations.
- Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary reviews when required.

Desired Skills
- Strong knowledge of child speech, language, communication, and developmental disorders.
- Good clinical assessment and therapy-planning skills.
- Ability to work effectively with children with autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Good parent counselling and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn evidence-based and naturalistic developmental intervention approaches.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Valuable documentation and professional communication skills.

Eligibility
- BASLP / BSLP / MASLP / MSLP or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
- Part-time and full-time positions available.
