Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and execute civil works for ground-mounted solar PV projects.

- Carry out site grading, leveling, excavation, filling, compaction, and earthwork activities.

- Monitor pile foundation works for Module Mounting Structures (MMS).

- Coordinate pile driving, pile alignment, depth verification, and pull-out/load testing.

- Supervise RCC foundations, equipment foundations, transformer/inverter foundations, and other structural foundations.

- Monitor construction of internal roads, approach roads, drainage, and stormwater management systems.

- Execute cable trenches, duct banks, equipment yards, and associated civil works.

- Coordinate construction of control rooms, switchyard/substation civil works, if applicable.

- Supervise fencing, boundary works, gates, security facilities, and other site infrastructure.

- Check levels, alignment, coordinates, dimensions, and elevations as per approved drawings.

- Read and interpret civil drawings, structural drawings, BOQs, specifications, and method statements.

- Coordinate with surveyors for setting out and site measurements.

- Monitor reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, curing, and concrete quality.

- Ensure proper material inspection, testing, storage,



and utilization at site.

- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors for manpower, equipment, and material requirements.

- Prepare daily work plans and monitor progress against project schedules.

- Maintain daily progress reports, quantity records, measurement sheets, and site documentation.

- Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections, testing, and approval of civil works.

- Identify construction defects, non-conformities, and snags, and ensure timely closure.

- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, structural, and other project teams to avoid interface issues.

- Ensure compliance with HSE procedures during excavation, piling, lifting, concreting, and other site activities.

- Monitor work productivity and minimize material wastage and rework.

- Coordinate with the client, consultant, Project Manager, and other stakeholders.

- Support quantity estimation, BOQ verification, billing measurements, and contractor bill certification.

- Assist in preparation of as-built drawings and final project documentation.

- Ensure timely completion and handover of assigned civil works.
