Role & responsibilities

- Develop software quality plans for projects across all subsystems.
- Perform detailed testing across multiple environments to identify defects and ensure software is reliable and functional.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and Conduct supplier audits
- Ensure that Project activities are implemented in accordance with contractual requirements and processes.
- Collaborating with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and testing needs.
- Conducting thorough reviews of product specifications and software design to identify potential areas of concern before testing.
- Using test automation tools and frameworks to increase the efficiency of the testing process.
- Ensuring the software meets customer and business requirements by validating functionality and performance.
- Validate supplier software documentation across all subsystems




- Assisting in continuously improving QA processes, tools, and best practices to enhance software testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Required skills

- 3+ years of proven experience as a quality assurance engineer, software tester, or similar role with expertise in Embedded domain
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in programming languages like C, C# or Python to build and run automated test scripts.
- Experience with bug tracking and project management tools (JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Understanding continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and version control systems like Git. Working experience in an Agile environment and tools (Scrum, Kanban).
- Strong communication skills for documenting test results and interacting with cross-functional teams. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team workplace. A curious mindset with a willingness to quickly learn new technologies and testing tools.

Preferred skills

- Relevant certification in software testing or quality assurance (ISTQB, CSTE, or similar).
- Experience with performance testing tools (LoadRunner or JMeter).
- Experience in TCMS (Rail) systems or Avionics software and exposure to EN 50657 standards Experience with version control and collaboration tools (Git, Bitbucket).
- Knowledge of security testing practices and tools Ability to work in fast-paced environments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
