Job Summary:

We are seeking a proficient Software Engineer Python Backend Developer with solid experience in building scalable backend systems. In this role, you will take ownership of features, contribute to architectural decisions, and deliver high-quality solutions independently.

What you will do here:

- Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend applications using Python and modern frameworks
- Own features from design through deployment, ensuring quality and performance
- Collaborate with product, design, and other engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure code quality standards
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
- Optimize application performance, database queries, and API response times
- Design and implement robust REST APIs with proper error handling and documentation
- Implement automated testing (unit, integration, and API tests)
- Contribute to system architecture discussions and technical decisions
- Support junior developers and participate in knowledge sharing
- Monitor and improve code maintainability and technical debt management
- Stay updated with Python ecosystem, frameworks, and industry best practices

What you need to thrive:

- 3 to 5 years of professional experience as a Python Backend Developer or similar role
- Advanced proficiency in Python and industry-standard frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI, etc.)
- Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases
- Solid knowledge of REST API design,



HTTP protocols, and microservices concepts
- Experience with ORM technologies (SQLAlchemy, Django ORM)
- Knowledge of software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and basic DevOps practices
- Experience with caching mechanisms and optimization techniques
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Vibe Coding, etc.) to enhance coding efficiency and quality
- Strong knowledge of Generative AI and Agentic AI concepts, with the ability to contextually map requirements, create effective prompts, generate code, and integrate LLMs and AI services into modern application workflows
