As an SDE-1, you will work closely with senior engineers to design and develop backend services, contribute to feature development, and gain exposure to system design and production systems. You will take ownership of smaller modules and progressively grow into handling larger responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in designing, building, and maintaining backend services with guidance from senior engineers.
- Develop and deliver features end-to-end for well-defined problem statements.
- Write clean, maintainable, and productive code with appropriate testing.
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality.
- Collaborate with frontend, product, and other teams to ship features.
- Debug issues and support production systems with guidance.
- Contribute to improving system performance, logging, and monitoring.
- Learn and follow engineering best practices and development processes.

Requirements:

- 1-2 years of experience in backend development (internships/projects count).
- Familiarity with at least one backend language (Node.js, Java, Go, etc.).




- Basic understanding of databases (preferably PostgreSQL).
- Exposure to RESTful APIs and backend service development.
- Basic knowledge of caching concepts.
- Understanding of core computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms)

Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS) or containers (Docker) is a plus.
- Eagerness to learn system design fundamentals and scalable architecture.
