Role & responsibilities

- Design, operate, and improve VMware-based private cloud infrastructure across multiple datacenter environments.
- Build automation that reduces manual effort, improves consistency, and strengthens operational reliability across infrastructure services.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows Server platforms that support critical business and customer-facing workloads.
- Support core infrastructure integrations including Active Directory, DNS, authentication services, networking, storage, and load balancing.
- Drive improvements in platform resilience, performance, security, and compliance through engineering best practice and infrastructure modernization.
- Work closely with network, security, SRE, and DevOps teams, while contributing technical leadership, documentation, and mentoring to strengthen engineering standards.

Preferred candidate profile Strong experience in systems engineering or infrastructure roles,



including significant time operating at a senior or staff level.

- Deep hands-on expertise with VMware vSphere, including ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, vMotion, and distributed switching.
- Advanced Linux systems administration skills, including troubleshooting, hardening, patching, and performance tuning.
- Practical experience with Windows Server and Active Directory, including DNS, Group Policy, and authentication services.
- Proven ability to build automation using tools such as PowerShell, PowerCLI, Python, Ansible, or similar.
- Robust enterprise datacenter knowledge across compute, storage, networking, monitoring, and operational support.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and improving how infrastructure is run.
