To ensure accurate setup of CNC, VMC, TMC, and Sliding Head machines, guaranteeing optimal performance and production quality according to engineering specifications and production plans..
Responsibility:
- Perform machine setup and tool changes as per job requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and control plans.
- Ensure zero deviation during setting to maintain consistent part quality.
- Coordinate with programmers and operators for smooth handover post setup.
- Conduct trial runs and first piece inspections.
- Monitor tooling condition and inform for replacements or regrinding.
- Maintain cleanliness and order around machines.
- Follow safety protocols and company quality standards.
- Document setup details for future reference.
