: Senior Subject Matter Expert English

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Subject Matter Expert English to develop and review high-quality, curriculum-aligned content for K12 learners. The role involves creating engaging English language and literature content, contributing to curriculum design, and ensuring academic excellence across digital and print learning solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop, review, and enhance English Language and English Literature content for K12 learners.
- Create curriculum-aligned lesson plans, assessments, worksheets, question banks, and teacher resources.
- Collaborate with instructional designers and content teams to build engaging digital learning experiences.
- Apply Blooms Taxonomy and modern pedagogical practices in content development.
- Ensure alignment with CBSE, ICSE, state board standards, and global English learning methodologies.
- Contribute to book authoring, curriculum design, and academic program development.
- Mentor junior SMEs and academic writers to maintain content quality.




- Stay updated on trends in English Literature teaching, TEFL, CELTA, and language pedagogy.
- Ensure accuracy, originality, and timely delivery of content.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Master’s degree in English Literature, Linguistics, Education, ELT, or related field.
- Candidates from English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in SME English Literature profiles, academic content writing, curriculum design, or K–12 publishing.
- Strong expertise in English Literature teaching, grammar, comprehension, and creative writing.
- Experience in book authoring / curriculum design for education or edtech platforms.
- Familiarity with Bloom’s Taxonomy and instructional design methodologies.
- TEFL, CELTA, or related certifications preferred.
- Solid communication, research, editing, and proofreading skills.
