Senior Interior Designer Luxury Residential & Execution

Role & Responsibilities

- Understand client requirements, lifestyle preferences, functional needs, and design expectations.
- Develop design concepts, mood boards, material palettes, and space-planning solutions for luxury residential interiors.
- Prepare accurate 2D drawings, furniture layouts, elevations, sections, and detailed working drawings using AutoCAD.
- Create 3D models and realistic visualizations using SketchUp / 3Ds Max and rendering software.
- Prepare detailed BOQs, material specifications, and quantity requirements for projects.
- Select and coordinate premium materials, finishes, laminates, veneers, fabrics, lighting, hardware, and other interior elements.
- Conduct site measurements and prepare site markings based on approved drawings.
- Coordinate and monitor day-to-day site execution to ensure design accuracy, quality, and workmanship.
- Coordinate with contractors, carpenters, electricians, vendors, suppliers, and other site teams.
- Identify and resolve design and execution-related issues at site.
- Conduct regular site inspections and track project progress against timelines.
- Interact with clients during design development, material selection, site execution, and project completion.
- Coordinate revisions and ensure approved designs are correctly implemented at site.
- Maintain project documentation, drawings, BOQs, material details, and other relevant records.
- Conduct snagging and ensure smooth, quality-focused project handover.




- Manage multiple projects and ensure timely completion while maintaining The Palette's design and quality standards.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 2-6 years of hands-on experience in residential interior design.
- Experience in luxury residential interiors is strongly preferred.
- Must have practical experience handling projects from design development through site execution and handover.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Good working knowledge of 3Ds Max / V-Ray or other 3D rendering software.
- Strong understanding of 2D drawings, working drawings, elevations, sections, space planning, and BOQ preparation.
- Valuable knowledge of interior materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, hardware, and construction techniques.
- Strong site coordination and execution skills.
- Excellent client communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong design sense with attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to independently handle responsibilities while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Must be willing to travel to project sites as required.
- Two-wheeler is mandatory for site visits.
- Candidates based in Thane / Mumbai / Navi Mumbai or willing to relocate to Thane will be preferred.
