Job Description ● Manage end-to-end accounting for Australian clients
n ● Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
n ● Perform bank, credit card, loan, and balance sheet reconciliations
n ● Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
n ● Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and adjustments
n ● Manage month-end and year-end closing activities
n ● Finalize books of accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records
n ● Prepare workpapers and supporting schedules for year-end compliance and tax requirements
n ● Prepare and review BAS (Business Activity Statements) and IAS (Instalment Activity Statements)
n ● Ensure GST compliance and reconciliations




n ● Assist in payroll processing and superannuation reconciliations
n ● Prepare management reports, cash flow reports, and financial analysis
n ● Coordinate with Australian accountants, tax agents, and clients for reporting requirements
n ● Work extensively on Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, and other cloud-based accounting software
n ● Review accounting records, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions
n ● Mentor junior team members and review their work for accuracy and compliance
