About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist with strong expertise in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, data analytics, and operational intelligence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building a robust metrics framework, developing predictive and anomaly-detection models, creating dashboards, and translating complex data into actionable insights for business and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and build a comprehensive metrics framework for the digital ordering pipeline, covering order intake through result delivery.
- Develop dashboards to monitor:
- Order volumes
- Throughput
- Turnaround time
- Error rates
- System stability
- Performance across integration points
- Build predictive models to forecast:
- Order failures
- Volume trends
- Capacity requirements
- Develop automated anomaly detection mechanisms to identify pipeline and operational issues proactively.
- Apply statistical techniques for root-cause analysis and investigate system failures.
- Work closely with engineering teams to identify gaps in data collection and system instrumentation.
- Integrate and analyze data from multiple systems and disparate sources.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis for production issues, incidents, and business-impact questions.
- Translate complex statistical and technical findings into clear, actionable insights for executives, engineering leaders, and technical teams.
- Document metric definitions, model logic, data sources, and dashboard designs for long-term maintainability.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering, Advanced Analytics, or a closely related field.
- Solid knowledge of statistics, including:
- Hypothesis testing
- Regression
- Time-series analysis
- Bayesian methods
- Advanced SQL skills with experience working across large and multi-source datasets.
- Strong proficiency in Python or R.
- Hands-on experience with data science and ML libraries such as:
- Scikit-learn
- Statsmodels
- Pandas
- NumPy
- Equivalent libraries
- Hands-on experience with AWS data and ML services, preferably:
- Amazon SageMaker
- Amazon Redshift
- Amazon Athena
- AWS Glue
- Amazon QuickSight
- Strong hands-on experience with Tableau.
- Experience defining metrics frameworks and developing dashboards from scratch.
- Experience developing predictive models and anomaly detection solutions for production or operational environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root-cause analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical and statistical insights to senior stakeholders.
Good to Have
- Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, laboratory operations, or related domains.
- Experience with operational analytics, including:
- Error tracking
- SLA monitoring
- System health metrics
- Experience with real-time or streaming analytics.
- Exposure to Amazon Kinesis and AWS Lambda.
- Experience working with large-scale digital ordering or transaction-processing pipelines.
Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
Pay: ₹2,020,943.28 - ₹3,003,203.64 per year
