The X-Ray Teacher shall be responsible for conducting training sessions for X-Ray technicians, students, and supporting staff regarding radiographic procedures, radiation safety, patient handling, equipment usage, and departmental protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct theoretical and practical training sessions for X-Ray technicians and trainees.
Teach proper patient positioning and radiographic techniques.
Train staff regarding radiation safety protocols and infection control measures.
Demonstrate proper handling and maintenance of X-Ray equipment.
Ensure compliance with hospital and radiology department SOPs.
Guide trainees in film/digital image quality assessment.
Maintain training records, attendance, and evaluation reports.
Coordinate with Radiologists and other departments for smooth training activities.
Assist in departmental audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure proper documentation and reporting practices are followed.
Educational Qualification
Diploma/Degree in Radiology or Medical Imaging Technology.
Certification in Radiography/X-Ray Technology preferred.
Experience
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Radiology/X-Ray Department.
Prior teaching or training experience shall be preferred.
Required Skills
Valuable communication and teaching skills.
Knowledge of radiographic procedures and radiation protection.
Ability to handle trainees and coordinate practical sessions.
Basic computer knowledge and documentation skills.
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
