Kamgar Engineering Works India Pvt. Ltd. is a Mumbai-based manufacturer and supplier of railway OHE/electrification products. We are looking for a hands-on, responsible and technically sound Engineer who can independently manage quality, production planning and product-development-related activities in a growing manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
Incoming Quality Inspection: Inspect incoming raw materials, components and bought-out items against drawings, specifications and purchase requirements.
Quality Management System: Maintain and manage the company's ISO/QMS documentation, inspection records, NCR/CAPA and related quality activities.
Third-Party Inspection: Coordinate and remain present during RITES, customer and other third-party inspections, including preparation of required documents and closure of observations.
Product Development: Assist in the development and improvement of current products, including drawings, specifications, prototypes, testing and technical documentation.
Production Planning & Control (PPC): Prepare production plans, monitor material availability and WIP, coordinate with stores and production, and track production against delivery requirements.
Ensure proper documentation and traceability throughout the manufacturing process.
Identify quality or production issues and take initiative to resolve them.
The Ideal Candidate
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering preferred. Production/Industrial Engineering candidates may also be considered.
4–7 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in a small or medium-sized engineering/manufacturing company.
Practical experience in quality inspection and ISO/QMS.
Experience dealing with customer or third-party inspections will be an advantage.
Positive understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, measurements and inspection procedures.
