Key Result Areas (KRAs) SECURITY GUARD

1. Access Control & Gate Management

- Verify and maintain records of all incoming and outgoing employees, vehicles, and visitors.
- Check visitors’ information and issue visitor passes.
- Ensure proper escort arrangements for visitors as per requirements.
- Allow entry/exit only after checking employees’ ID cards.
- Control the entry of contractors and vendors with proper documentation.

2. Perimeter & Premises Security

- Conduct regular patrols of the plant, warehouse, and boundary areas (as applicable).
- Ensure security of all entry/exit gates and boundary fencing.
- Prevent unauthorized entry into restricted areas.

3. Material Movement Control

- Verify gate passes for materials moving in and out of the premises.
- Check vehicles entering or leaving the premises, including trucks and tempos.
- Prevent theft, pilferage, or unauthorized removal of materials/assets and conduct physical checks.
- Coordinate with the P&I;/Dispatch team regarding documents related to material movement.

4. Fire & Safety Compliance

- Maintain knowledge of the locations and operation of fire extinguishers and hydrants.
- Assist in fire drills and emergency evacuation procedures.
- Immediately report fire hazards, gas leakage, or unsafe conditions.
- Prevent smoking or the use of open flames in restricted areas.

Incident Reporting & Response

- Immediately report accidents, theft, trespassing, or any unusual incident.
- Maintain the Daily Occurrence Register (DOR)/Log Book accurately and update it regularly.
- Provide first response/support during emergencies until assistance arrives.
- Coordinate with the local police when required.

6. Housekeeping & Discipline Support

- Keep the gate area and guard post clean, tidy, and well-organized.
- Ensure compliance with factory rules and regulations.

8. Asset & Scrap Control

- Monitor the movement of scrap, waste, and recyclable materials.
- Prevent unauthorized removal or disposal of scrap.
- Verify the weighment slip and gate pass of vehicles carrying scrap.

Checks & Balances

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
