Role & responsibilities

Responsible for strategic and operational procurement of Engineering Spares, MRO, Consumables, and Labour/Service Contracts.

The role requires solid hands-on experience in SAP MM, SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing, and Ariba SLP for end-to-end P2P process and contract lifecycle management.

Key Technical Responsibilities

1. SAP MM / S4HANA Procurement

- Handle end-to-end PR to PO process in SAP MM: Create PR, RFQ, Quotation Comparison, PO, PO Change, Service Entry Sheet
- Manage Material Master, Vendor Master, Info Records, Source List, and Contract management in SAP
- Use MRP reports, Stock Overview, Open PO reports for critical spares planning
- Configure and maintain Cataloge items for MRO and Consumables

1. SAP Ariba - Buying, Invoicing & Contracts

- Manage Ariba Buying: Guided Buying, Catalogue Purchase, Requisition to PO flow via Ariba CIG with SAP
- Float RFP/RFQ in Ariba Sourcing, run e-Auctions, and supplier collaboration
- Handle Ariba Contracts: Create, renew, and amend Service/Labour Rate Contracts and Frame Agreements
- Manage Ariba SLP - Supplier Lifecycle & Performance: Vendor onboarding, qualification, and risk assessment
- Process Ariba Invoicing: 3-way match, invoice submission, and dispute resolution with suppliers

1. Labour & Service Contract Management

- Create Service POs and Service Entry Sheets in SAP for labour contracts
- Manage Rate Contracts for skilled, semi-skilled,



and unskilled manpower in Ariba Contracts
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements: PF, ESI, Contract Labour Act in vendor docs uploaded in Ariba SLP
- Track contract spend vs budget in Ariba Spend Analysis

1. Analytics & Reporting

- Generate reports from SAP BI, Ariba Spend Visibility, and Ariba Supplier Performance
- Use Ariba dashboards for savings tracking, vendor compliance, and cycle time reduction
- Master Data Governance: Ensure cleanliness of Material, Vendor, and Contract data in SAP & Ariba

Coordination & Compliance
- Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, Stores, and Production teams for material requirements
- Ensure compliance with company purchase policies, ISO, and statutory requirements
- Handle documentation: PO, GRN, invoices, labour contract agreements, vendor approvals

Preferred candidate profile

- Education:B.E. / Diploma + MBA/PGDM in SCM or Materials Management
- Experience: 8-12 years in Procurement with 5+ years hands-on in SAP MM and SAP Ariba

- Must Have System Skills
- SAP MM:PR/PO/RFQ, Contracts, Scheduling Agreements, Info Records, Service PO, MIRO
- SAP Ariba: Ariba Buying, Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Contracts, Ariba SLP, Ariba Invoicing, Ariba CIG
- Other: MS Excel - VLOOKUP, Pivot, Power BI preferred
- Domain Knowledge: Engineering spares, MRO, Capital items, and Labour contract compliance
- Certification: SAP MM / Ariba Certified preferred
