Role Description The Science Teacher at EdifyChamps will deliver engaging online science lessons to school-age learners in a remote, part-time capacity. Daily responsibilities include planning and conducting virtual classes, explaining scientific concepts in clear and age-appropriate ways, and integrating Physics and basic Mathematics where relevant.

The teacher will assess student understanding, provide constructive feedback, and adjust lesson plans based on individual needs and progress. Additional tasks may include creating digital learning materials,



maintaining punctual and professional communication with students and guardians, and recording student performance in line with EdifyChamps’ academic standards.

Qualifications

- Strong background in Science Education with subject expertise in Physics.
- Comfortable incorporating Mathematics into science lessons to support conceptual understanding.
- Qualified Teacher status or equivalent teaching certification and experience in classroom or online teaching.
- Demonstrated ability in lesson planning and curriculum alignment for diverse learning levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas simply.
- Experience with online teaching platforms, basic educational technology, and virtual classroom management.
- Patience, empathy, and a student-centered approach to instruction and support.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Physics, Science, or a related field preferred.
