Role Description This is a full-time, on-site SAS Developer role based in Bangalore Area. The SAS Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain SAS programs for data extraction, transformation, reporting, and analytics.

The role involves working closely with business and analytics teams to understand requirements, manage large data sets, build statistical models, and deliver accurate and timely outputs. Daily responsibilities include writing effective code, validating and documenting datasets and programs, troubleshooting data and performance issues, and ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. The SAS Developer will also contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives,



and best practices in data management and statistical programming.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Statistical Programming skills, including hands-on experience with Ø Strong expertise in Base SAS, PROC SQL, SAS Macros, DATA Step Programming, SAS Viya and related tools.
- Experience in performance tuning of SAS programs and optimizing complex Sas SQL queries
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret complex data to support business decision-making.
- Candidates should possess Data Management skills, including data cleansing, transformation, integration, and quality assurance.
- Candidates should possess Programming skills and familiarity with Statistics to develop, validate, and optimize analytical solutions.
- Relevant experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering, preferably in a global or shared services environment.
- Skills in analysing customer, loan, deposits, credit card, and transaction’s data to support business and regulatory reporting.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and on-site settings.
- Exposure to data visualization tools, SQL, or other scripting languages, and knowledge of industry best practices in data security and compliance are beneficial.
