Role: SAP CPI / PIPO Integration Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP CPI / PIPO Integration Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in designing, developing, configuring, testing, and supporting SAP and non-SAP integrations. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in SAP PI/PO (PIPO), SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), SAP Ariba/CIG, and SuccessFactors integrations.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable integration solutions using SAP CPI and SAP PI/PO (PIPO).
- Develop and maintain integrations between SAP, Ariba, SuccessFactors, and non-SAP applications.
- Participate in all phases of the integration lifecycle including POC, blueprinting, mapping, design, development, configuration, testing, deployment, go-live, and production support.
- Translate business requirements into technical integration architecture and middleware solutions.
- Create and maintain technical specifications based on functional and business requirements.
- Perform data mapping and interface development.
- Configure and maintain SAP PIPO components including SLD, ESR, and Integration Directory (ID).
- Configure adapters such as JMS, JDBC, SFTP, SOAP, IDoc, Proxy, FTPS, and Web Services.
- Develop Java mappings and graphical mappings.
- Work with SOAP, OData, APIs, and API Management.
- Support integration solutions using SAP CIG, Integration Advisor, Open Connectors, Event Mesh, and SAP Build Process Automation.
- Work with BPM/BRM and AIF-related integration requirements.
- Ensure appropriate transport management, security,



and deployment processes.
- Collaborate effectively with onshore and offshore teams.
- Independently own assigned integration tasks and provide production support.

Mandatory Skills
- 6+ years of hands-on SAP PI/PO/PIPO integration development
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP CPI / SAP Cloud Integration
- 2+ years of SAP Ariba integration experience, preferably using SAP CIG
- 2+ years of SAP SuccessFactors integration experience
- Strong knowledge of SAP PI/PO 7.4
- Experience with SLD, ESR, Integration Directory
- Hands-on experience with Java Mapping and Graphical Mapping
- Experience with SOAP, OData, Web Services, IDoc, Proxy, SFTP, JDBC, JMS, and FTPS
- Strong understanding of data mapping and interface development
- Knowledge of SAP API Management
- Knowledge of SAP Integration Advisor, Open Connectors, and Event Mesh
- Exposure to SAP Build Process Automation and SAP Build Work Zone
- Knowledge of BRF/BRM
- Working knowledge of AIF and Transport Management
- Understanding of SAML and integration security
- Programming/scripting knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Experience integrating SAP with multiple non-SAP systems

Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of recent SAP HANA and SAP Cloud Platform capabilities
- Experience with complex enterprise integration architecture
- Exposure to Linux and Windows environments
- Experience working in an onshore/offshore delivery model
- Robust troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills

Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
