What We Offer This role is within our Finance - Process Analytics Data & Digital unit, which has the goal to provide effective and correct financial transactions and contract management for Volvo Cars. You will be part of the Finance Engineering department with the goal to support and develop the Finance system landscape to secure seamless Closings & enable a stable and scalable transactional backbone for Volvo cars..

Main Responsibilities

- Work on Complex ABAP implementations - programming, testing and debugging functions
- Understand the business function requirements and transform the requirements into the technical designs, specs and code
- Close engagement/communication with functional teams/Business Analysts/technical team members and other stakeholders
- Aligning and coordinating delivery with Product Managers, Engineering Managers & Architects to ensure consistency in solutions
- Collaborating within and outside the team to secure resilient solutions and shared functional designs
- Providing technical/functional guidance to junior members – including Dev Ops best practices




- Creating a stable solution architecture that realizes the system's functional requirements and quality attributes.

What you'll bring
- Having SAP ABAP programming, testing and operational management (Design/Build/Maintain) of IT-systems/applications.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in SAP with ABAP as the primary competence area and working knowledge of other SAP modules
- Functional Design and experience of working with Agile methodologies (product development)
- Worked on at least 3 complete end to end implementation project in SAP ECC & S/4
- Proven understanding of SAP architecture & SAP ABAP development concepts, guidelines
- Working experience with Interfaces. APIs

- Adobe forms development experience
- Development experience in CDS views, AMDPs
- Design and develop applications using the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).
- Develop and expose OData Services using SAP Gateway.
- Build backend services for SAP Fiori applications.
- Support system upgrades, S/4HANA migrations, and technical remediation activities.
- Experience with Clean Core principles.
- Should be able to work Independently on solutioning and mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to write technical specifications
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables/tasks

- Nice to have
- SAP ECC to SAP S/4 Migration knowledge

- Knowledge on CFIN system

- AIF process knowledge
- Certified in SAP S/4 ABAP 2020 & above.
