Department: RMHS (Raw Material Handling System) - DRI 650 Plant

Reporting To: Department HOD

Experience: 10-12 Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering

Industry: Steel / Sponge Iron (DRI) / Integrated Steel Plant

Job Purpose To manage RMHS operations ensuring uninterrupted receipt, storage, handling and feeding of raw materials to the DRI plant with maximum equipment availability, safety and efficiency.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Manage complete RMHS operations including unloading, stacking, reclaiming and feeding of iron ore, coal and dolomite.
- Ensure uninterrupted raw material supply to the DRI plant.
- Monitor conveyors, crushers, screens, feeders,



stackers and reclaimers.
- Coordinate with Stores, Purchase, Production and Mechanical/Electrical departments.
- Plan manpower and shift deployment.
- Monitor inventory and minimize material losses.
- Ensure preventive maintenance coordination.
- Maintain MIS, consumption and stock reports.
- Ensure safety, housekeeping and environmental compliance.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
