Role & responsibilities
Design elevator and lift components, assemblies, and systems.
Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD.
Create 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
Prepare General Arrangement Drawings (GAD) for customer approvals.
Develop Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM) and support Manufacturing BOM (MBOM).
Prepare detailed fabrication and production drawings.
Ensure drawings comply with relevant standards and company design guidelines.
Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, Sales, and Installation teams for design-related activities.
Modify and improve existing product designs based on site or customer requirements.
Maintain engineering documentation, drawing revisions, and design records.
Support prototype development, product improvements, and cost optimization initiatives.
Resolve manufacturing and installation-related design issues.
Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD (2D Drafting)
Solid proficiency in SolidWorks (Parts,
Assemblies & Drawings)
Experience in General Arrangement Drawings (GAD):
Knowledge of Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM) and Manufacturing BOM (MBOM):
Positive understanding of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing):
Knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication drawings
Understanding of machining, welding, laser cutting, bending, and fabrication processes
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
