Position Details

Job Summary

The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting financial reporting. The role requires robust knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts & Bookkeeping
Record daily accounting transactions accurately in the ERP/Tally system.
Prepare and maintain purchase, sales, receipt, payment, and journal vouchers.
Perform ledger scrutiny and reconciliation of customer and vendor accounts.
Maintain cash book and bank book on a daily basis.

Accounts Payable & Receivable
Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
Generate customer invoices and follow up for outstanding payments.
Reconcile customer and supplier balances periodically.

Banking




Prepare bank payment entries (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS/Cheque).
Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
Coordinate with banks for account-related activities.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance
Prepare data for GST returns and ensure proper GST accounting.
Maintain TDS records and assist in TDS calculations and return filing.
Support statutory audits, internal audits, and tax assessments.
Maintain records related to statutory compliance.

Financial Reporting
Assist in monthly and annual closing of accounts.
Prepare MIS reports, expense statements, and financial summaries.
Support budgeting and cost analysis activities.

Documentation & Record Management
Maintain proper filing of invoices, vouchers, agreements, and financial documents.
Ensure accounting records are complete and audit-ready.

Coordination
Coordinate with internal departments regarding payments, purchase orders, and expense documentation.
