Software Engineer, Chennai

The Fullstack Engineerwithin the NIQ Activate R&D; organization is a senior individual contributor role responsible for designing, developing, and scaling backend services that power innovative product solutions for our growing customer base. Working in a team-oriented and innovation-driven environment, you will leverage modern cloud-native technologies, microservices architectures, and AI-assisted development tools to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performance solutions while influencing technical direction, architecture, and engineering best practices.

What will you be doing?
Responsible for implementing micro-services from design to production.
Take ownership of development, maintenance, testing strategy, design discussions, and operations of the team, with containerized API services
Participate in all aspects of agile software development including design, implementation, and deployment.
Responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of new product features / components
Work with a small,



cross-functional team on products and features to drive growth.
Learning recent tools, languages, workflows, and philosophies to grow
Research and suggest current technologies for boosting the product.
Have an impact on product development by making important technical decisions, influencing the system architecture, development practices and more.

Qualifications
Must have: B.Sc. in Computer Sciences or similar
At least 4+ years of experience in Fullstack role
Profound knowledge in OOP and design patterns
Experience and knowledge of server-side technologies such as Java, Spring, React
Experience with Docker containers, Kubernetes and Cloud settings
Expertise in testing methodologies (Unit-testing, TDD, mocking)
Fluent with Relational databases (SQL)
Valuable problem-solving and analysis abilities
Excellent team player with strong communication skills
