Production Planning & Operations
Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and business objectives.
Monitor daily production activities and ensure adherence to production plans.
Optimize machine utilization, manpower allocation, and production efficiency.
Coordinate with procurement, maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
Minimize production downtime and address operational bottlenecks.

Team Management
Lead, supervise, and motivate production staff and supervisors.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and training.
Ensure adequate staffing levels and workforce planning.
Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Quality Management
Ensure products meet established quality standards and customer specifications.
Work closely with the Quality team to reduce defects, rework, and customer complaints.
Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) where required.
Monitor quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
Promote workplace safety awareness and protected operating procedures.
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.

Cost Control & Productivity Improvement
Monitor production costs and identify prospects for cost reduction.
Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, or Kaizen initiatives.
Improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and productivity metrics.
Manage waste reduction and process optimization projects.

Reporting & Analysis
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
Analyze production data and KPIs to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Present operational performance updates to senior management.
Develop action plans to achieve production targets.
