In this role, you will own the entire recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to onboarding. Because our core business relies on delivering headcount to fast-paced manufacturing clients, you will be directly responsible for meeting strict delivery timelines, managing high-volume mandates, and maintaining a robust pipeline of skilled, semi-skilled, and apprentice talent.

- Reports To: Director / Operations Head

Key Responsibilities & Accountability1. Delivery & End-to-End Ownership

- Take full accountability for fulfilling recruitment mandates across all business verticals: Contractual Staffing, Apprenticeship Hiring, and Skill Development placements.
- Ensure 100% compliance with client SLAs (Service Level Agreements) regarding turnaround time (TAT) and joiner ratios.
- Source candidates for manufacturing roles, technical operators, quality inspectors, and apprentices.

2. Team Management & Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and track the daily performance of a team of recruiters.
- Assign daily/weekly sourcing targets to the team and conduct regular review meetings.




- Step in actively to close critical or bulk mandates alongside the team.

3. Sourcing Strategy & Vendor Management

- Leverage diverse sourcing channels: job portals, social media, local community networks, ITIs, polytechnics, and skill development centers.
- Organize and execute mega job fairs and campus placement drives across Tamil Nadu and neighboring regions.
- Build and maintain relationships with external sub-vendors and training institutes.

4. Client Coordination & Compliance

- Partner with internal account managers and client HR teams to understand exact technical and volume requirements.
- Ensure all recruitment processes align with labor laws, contract staffing regulations, and statutory apprenticeship guidelines (NAPS/NATS).

5. Data & Reporting

- Maintain accurate, real-time recruitment dashboards and trackers.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports to management on key metrics: Cost-per-Hire, Time-to-Hire, and Fulfilment Rate.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelors degree in any discipline; an MBA in Human Resources is highly preferred.
- Experience: 6 to 10 years of experience in recruitment, with at least 3+ years in a managerial or team lead role within a Staffing, Consultative, or RPO firm.
- Industry Knowledge: Proven track record in bulk/volume hiring for the Manufacturing, Automotive, or Engineering sectors.
- Domain Expertise: Robust understanding of Contractual Staffing models and Apprenticeship schemes (NAPS/NATS) is a major advantage.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Tamil and English is mandatory (to communicate effectively with local candidates and corporate clients).
- Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and people management skills. Proficient in MS Excel and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
