Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive with a robust background in the chemical trading sector to manage our end-to-end accounting, bookkeeping, and tax compliance. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records in Busy software, ensuring 100% compliance with GST and TDS regulations, and handling trade-specific documentation like e-way bills and inventory reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
GST Management: Prepare, verify, and file monthly GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B returns.
ITC Reconciliation: Conduct rigorous monthly reconciliation of Input Tax Credit (ITC) with GSTR-2B/2A using Busy software.
TDS Compliance: Calculate monthly TDS deductions on vendor payments, deposit challans, file quarterly TDS returns, and issue Form 16A.
Trade Documentation: Generate and track E-Way bills and E-Invoices accurately for domestic chemical dispatches.
Bookkeeping & Trading Operations in Busy
Data Entry: Record daily purchase, sales,
debit/credit notes, and cash/bank vouchers directly into Busy software.
Inventory Tracking: Reconcile physical inventory with Busy records, keeping accurate tracks of batch numbers, chemical grades, and storage locations.
Reconciliations: Execute daily/weekly Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and monthly vendor/customer ledger matchings.
Receivables & Payables: Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP). Track aging schedules and follow up on outstanding payments.
Financial Reporting & Auditing
Month-End Closing: Assist in closing monthly books, verifying the Trial Balance, and preparing Profit & Loss statements.
Management Reports: Generate weekly cash flow summaries and MIS reports for management review.
Audit Support: Organize financial vouchers, tax ledgers, and inventory reports to support statutory and tax auditors.
